I have an 04 supercrew and am thinking of switching the stock speakers for some jbls. I was thinking 6x8s for the rear doors and 6.5" for the front. The only thing i am worried about is the added tweeters in the multi element speaker. Because the truck has a separate tweeter in the front doors will this setup create too much highs? I have heard that the 6.5"s have better sound quality but because of a larger surface area the 6x8s will have better bass. Is this correct?
