Jim finally answered your question on DIYMA but I think he gave specs for a box with two subs.

lol yea i just saw that, it seems he did it for dual subs so i sent him a message asking to change it up for me. stuck it in a sealed box for now, but i still want to put it in a ported box

it sounds pretty good, clean and tight, but feel i can get more out of it with ported box. i also need to tweak my amp a little more as well. i made my box to have .3 cu ft total after speaker displacement, but feel it would sound better if it was a little larger. not saying it sounds bad at all!

Thats cool. It will definitely be louder ported.

I know what you mean about the box, I have two Type R 10's in a sealed box. I built it to Alpine's recommended size and the subs sound like they need a little more airspace.

yea, so if i dont hear from jim again soon on the ported size,then i'll prolly run a sealed w/ .5 cu ft. that should help
