I am running polk db571 in my front doors one of them is blown and I am looking to upgrade if I can, running an alpine 4channel 55rms per channel amp.
I have no sub and am looking to upgrade to a speaker that will carry the lows a little better but still have nice crisp high notes as well.

look into speakers by Hybrid Audio Technologies. I am in the middle of building a new system and am using the Clarus C61-2; which are 6.5" component set. Amazing stuff.

 

Was thinking alpine type r 6x8 or kappas.
