VERY cool enclosure building program :-)

Oh and it's free, so that's even cooler, right ?

All credit should be given to the box building guru Chris Torres, who wrote this program.

Anyway, here's what I have got going on with my current build >

This is a screen shot for how my box will be setup with the regular length, built in ports....

And this is the same enclosure, with port extensions added to tune to a lower frequency....

Oh and hey, I thought this was cool too > Being an old guy (47 this month) when I built my first enclosures, PC's were not even mainstream yet, let alone, super-duper box building programs like this one. So, I became very competent / confident in using the old-school "port tuning nomogram".

Well, after using the Torres box calculator, I went back and checked the numbers against the old nomogram, and guess what ? Pretty much spot-freaking-on ! .....just like it should be

Anyway...

Peace,
Fish

Yeah, this program is pretty sweet!

Literally JUST got back form town at an audio shop getting my truck measured for a Rear Center Console box for my 2003 KR Super Crew with the 4 captians chairs...Putting in 2 Kicker Solo Baric L7 12" and after about an hour of measuring, looking at different fitment options we finally had a design, but the guy wasn't sure if it would work...

Well we plugged all the info into this program and in seconds not only did it tell us it was possible BUT we actually had room for a port!!!
