I agree. Purchased an Atrend single down firing 10" sealed box with a JL TW3 and found, picking it up today from installation, that the subwoofer hits the carpeted floor with it down firing. Only option is to up fire it and on my 2013 supercrew the box doesn't fit nicely under the seats (drivers side or passenger side rear bench) at all. With the box against the rear most section of the floor the seats do not sit on the stops but yet will rest firmly on the box itself pressing it into the floor further. I was and still am not impressed considering I waited over a month for the box to be delivered to the car audio facility it was recommended to me at. Bad combination choice with the TW3's as well I guess. No cooperation from the component selection gods for this go around. Live and learn.
