question for the sound experts

i am familiar with the fact that the HU's from the factory tend to turn down the bass lvl's in order to save the stock factory speakers. i have a 2010 FX4. i am also aware of the use of LOC's when it comes to upgrading the system when you are installing aftermarket speakers and want a way to easily add amps to you system. my question is this....

is there a sound processor out there that will readjust the sound lvl's in your system that you can use without the addition of a sub? in other words most of the processors i see are a type of LOC that only has pre amp outputs for rca jacks. i am curious if there is something that uses speaker line outputs in case you do not want to add an amp at the time but would like the improvement in the sound quality while adding aftermarket speakers to your system??

Not that ive ever seen, and it makes sense as to why. The VAST majority of those who are spending the money on something like a Rockford 3Sixty.2 or JL Cleansweep are using amps in their setups.

most head units come with the wires you need to just solder them to the factory connection kit. forgot what its called. my old dvd deck has outputs for sub amp and 4 channel, and i dont have a 4 channel. so it should come with it. just go to sonice and look at the pics.

The JBL MS-8 will do what you need and has a built in amp.
It'll EQ, setup TA, etc. automatically and from the reviews I've read does a great job.

I have an RF 3Sixty.2, but if I didn't already have amps laying around I would have went with one for sure.
