Mounting components in a 2010

Just got a 2010 lariet and love it............except for the stereo! From what I've read here, upgrading the speakers well at least help, and I really wanna keep the factory head unit. So my question is.....I wanna put components in the front doors, but Im not sure where the best and easiest place is to mount the crossovers. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I used double stick tape and placed them on a flat spot on the door panel. So far it has held . I used a hole saw and cut the sail panel for the tweeters. Just replacing the speakers only does help. Good luck. Lots of info here for upgrades.

So are yours inside the doors then? I was thinking the same thing for the tweeters

I drilled a hole at the front map pocket (closest to the cup holder in the door) and pulled all my wires through it and mounted my crossovers in the same pocket with double sided tape. This allows me to get to the tweeter adjustment button if needed and keeps the crossovers from getting damp inside the door.

DO NOT mount the X-overs in the doors. It is very harmful to them. They need to be mounted inside the cab.
