Good Idea?

So since everyone is always hangin out in the back of my truck and i hate running all the speakers when the truck isnt running. I was thinkin about flush mounting 2 speakers on my tool box then runin the wires to the head unit and putting a switch in for volume in. This way i can have a inside, outside or both switch on it.(Found one made by clarion for boats.)
My only issue i see is has anyone ever seen outdoor speaker wire that i could use?
what yall think
thanks yall

Hey.

Wellsir, apart from the redneck-like aspect of this mod, sounds like it will provide the tailgating tunes you seek.

Given it ain't gonna be fidelity-crucial (open air), any good quality automotive wire in an apppropriate gauge will work. Just protect the wire and any pass-throughs.

True rednecks would just use lampcord, throw it out the rear slider, and crack a cold one

Boombox on the tailgate? I feel this mod would be a complete waste of money.
