Where can I buy seat risers/lift so I can get some Alpine type R/X's?

i currently have a couple of slim series pioneer 10" subs under my rear bench powered by a JL audio 500/1v2.

it sounds alright but i am looking to go louder with some either 10's or 12's Alpine type R or X's!

i am wondering if you guys know where i can get some seat risers or a lift kit so i can fit these full size subs underneath my rear bench?

or if you have any other advice i would also appreciate it! thanks

LMI Welding makes a seat lift. Its not the greatest, but they're the only game in town.

Be prepared to run into a couple snags when installing it, but it's no too bad overall. Works fine.

Those are going to require a good amount of air space. Isn't the mounting depth like 9 inches?

Even with a seat lift I don't think you're going to be able to get that much depth.

Your best bet is to get an enclosure made just for those subs that are designed as a seat. You won't find any lift kit big enough for those subs since you will need room forthe cone movement and bottom of box (or whichever side comes into contact with a surface). Only other option you have is to make your own brackets. Personally, the Type X's are a complete waste of money. Go with the Type R's. Better yet, keep shopping and find a woofer better tailored to your circumstances. You can find shorter woofers that will produce just as much volume if not more.

Actually I take that back... if you forward fire the Rs then you'll have enough space for the massive mounting depth.

While the Alpines are pretty good drivers, there are better out there...
