Im getting 2 fi bl 12's and i plan to run them on an audioque 2200d. I want to wire them to 1 ohm.
Im new to this so can someone help me figure out what i need?
Dual 1 or 2?
Daily or spl?
Universal?
Im getting everything else fully loaded but not sure about these. thanks

 

dual 1's wired in parallel, and daily would probably best suit your needs and what do you mean by "universal"?

 

theres just an option universal yes or no? and idk what that is

 

Universal: This option gives you the choice to later chance the impedence of your voice coils. You can change from dual 2’s to dual 1’s and vice versa by reconing them. If you do not choose this option your motor(s) will be optimized per the coil resistance that you have chosen. (Dual 2’s will forever be a dual 2 motor, Dual 1 will forever be a Dual 1 motor).

 

I'd do none universal dual 1s for daily with the cooling system done up.
That way if you wire them in parallel series, you'll have 1 ohm.
