What speaker's to go with for 2009 f150?

Hey guys I'm I have narrowed my search down to two speakers for my truck. I'm currently going to leave everything stock except the component speakers. I will either go with (4) 6x8 kenwood excelon's or (4) JL Audio c2-570x (5x7). I was just wondering if any of you guys have these or have heard them. I know JL makes quality stuff so I'm leaning towards them but I have heard Kenwood excelon's are good also. So alittle help would be great. Also I do plan on upgrading the head unit later on and add a 10" sub.

yeah, I just went to a couple different locations that carry these speakers and the are both great. You def. can get the Kenwood's for cheap online compared to the store's and I the JL's are a little more online then Kenwood's but I think I'm gonna stick with JL Audio I have used them in the past and have no complaints so I think I'm gonna go for them I'll be doing a write up on the instal and a review of the speakers so keep an eye out for it.

You might have a look at infinity and Pioneer as well. But its all the same if your running off stock power so just order something.

if you havent already, have a look at Pioneer D-Series, you can find them for $120-ish and people are comparing them to $300 component systems.

Im 99% sure ill be ordering a pair of these myself in the next couple of weeks.

I wouldn’t even bother with aftermarket speakers unless you amp them. It may sound crazy, but just 50 watts from a clean amp makes an amazing difference.

Get on your local craigslist, ebay, or DIYMA classifieds and find a decent quality 4ch amp to bring your speakers alive. You can find really decent amps in the area of $100 if you look hard enough.
