Nice! Is this going to be a console that extends all the way to the back seat? Because if its not, I highly doubt you'll have enough space to port it. But thats okay, sealed is better anyways.

Never heard of Select Products, let us know how they are (I'm sure it'll be good). For fiberglass materials I use US Composites which is top notch.

it's going to be about the same size of the center console that was in there. i wanna leave room for the passengers feet in the back. the sub is going to be in the front towards the dash. I get out of class around 1:40 so I'll be starting around then

I would do a down firing sub, it will load better and sound better then a front faceing sub, plus if you do it right no one will never know it is there and save you a smashed window and a missing sub.

so i just finished for today and im pretty please with it.

yesterday morning i made a skeleton frame in about an hour and half and realized it wasnt a head turner and if im gunna be spending time and money, might as well do it badass, right?
so this is the first one i made

i started over yesterday afternoon and some of today working on this and decided
to have the sub facing the rear where it will sound better because of the empty back and having a W7 facing the radio, might make my cds skip a little
i probably wont be doing anything on it untill next weekend because of school and football.
let me know what yall think.
the cut out at the top is for a cb radio and the little panel above that is for switches for lights, train horn, etc.

You gonna port it. You should if you have the air space. That thing would be loud ported. Jl likes ports.

I would personally go sealed, save some space for storage or something. The W7 has incredible amounts of throw, its going to be loud no matter what. Ported they sound boomy and have a very bloated bottom end. Plus in a small space like a pickup cab, nothing is more annoying than port noise. The W7 I heard sealed sounded excellent.

Skeleton looks really good, nice woodwork. You are going to have to lay a LOT of glass to make that thing structurally strong enough though.

Sall you have super human ears....For NORMAL people the port noise wont be noticable....... Either way looks cool...

looks really good... but by looking at it i think i would keep it sealed to.. doesn't look like enough cubic feet to port it.. that sub will shine in a sealed box..
