Are these any good?

a friend is selling me a pair of pioneer ts-w302r subs he wants $50 for both of them, are they any good? and what size amp would be best for these? he told me they're 800watts each

for the doors i want to get the polk db571, for all four doors, would i need an amp for these?

and for the headunit.. i dont have anything just the stock with 6cd changer and the factory sub in the back

would it be a good plan to get the pioneer subs and the db571s? this is going to be my first system

12" 4-ohm subwoofer
injection-molded polypropylene composite cone with urethane surround
power range: 50-150 watts RMS (800 watts peak power)
frequency response: 20-90 Hz
sensitivity: 97 dB
mounting depth: 5-3/4"
sealed box volume: 1.0-2.0 cubic feet
ported box volume: 1.25-2.05 cu. ft.

10 sec google search. 50 for the pair isnt bad. small 400w amp into 4ohms should do the trick. wont be a big boomer but will make a little noise and little better then stock. Be prepaired to spend another 150-200$ to get everything else.

agreed^^^ dont go for what you want and because you can get it now the fastest. wait a little bit and save up for some nice equipment that will be worth it and not blowing your money on those. your friend is probably trying to make it seem like a good deal, and thats because there not worth much and wants to get his money back

I agree, don't go for the instant fix. Trust me I have settled before, and it is much better to just wait until there is a sale. My rule of thumb is to NEVER buy used speakers.
