ok i've always wanted a center console box. i have always wanted a W7 but the 10's were to big. now that JL Audio made it an 8 its awesome! ok so i wanna build a box to replace my center console does any one have any of these W7s?? how do you like them?

you can probably find a nicer sub that cost less...

how much room do you have to work with, do you want to go sealed or ported, and any pre design dimensions?

 

Looking for cheap 8" suggestions as well. Cheap as in $50 or less, seriously.

My friend has a set of these in his Ranger. They do sound nice but I'm biased, I listen to Rock/Punk not Crap.. err I mean rap. So I really prefer 8's, 15 years ago that was a different story..

I'm not sure about north of the boarder but Fry's Electronics tends to have nice deals on Kicker subs. Last time I saw the 8's had a buy one get one at $59.99. Great deal if you ask me!

 

What about those square kickers, any good?

 

ok i have jl audio all through the whole truck. i haven't really got any measurements for the box. i want it to hit hard and loud but i wanna keep the SQ. plz guy am kindda lost on the subs i wanna go ported if that helps.
