I've just installed infinity reference 5x7s running off of an 80w per channel amp. They sound amazing compared to the audiophile system that preceded it, but after two weeks I'm starting to get picky.

For lack of a better description, the soundstage is "low" and not centered (like it sounds like it's coming from my left knee). I've centered it up a bit by balancing toward the passenger side, but I'd still like to raise the stage a bit.

Which brings me to my question -- what's the consensus on tweeter location in the 05s? I'm running passive comps here, so no time alignment or the like. Just looking for a dash-level soundstage.

Where are people putting their tweets and how are they pointing them to reach this goal?
