i dont know if you can make that fit...unless you want to have your elbow to be in the cone. I know in my 06 f150 scab, the distance between the two front seats with console out is a very very tight 15 inches. the reason being is...there is some sort of device on the edge of both seats facing the center of the cab. I believe it has something to do with the seats sensors or seatbelts...i don't know exactly. but I do know that they are hard and dont really budge. it it wasn't for those, you could probally squeeze in a 16in wide box between the seats. I have seen a few people squeeze in the 15in wide box and put in a 15in L7 facing the front of the cab...in my opinion...thats a pretty awsome setup because with that setup..you can make the box as high and as long as you want....port that sucker and tune to 33hrtz and you will have a LOUD system.

P.S.- i wish we could put in a pair of 18" Fi BTL's in our trucks reasonably. I just need to use my back seat so i think its a lost cause for my application.

If you put the speaker actually in the back, facing the rear and put your port out the front, you'd be able to maybe do it.
You asked for the best sub under 600, I gave you the best all around for the money.
They offer 12s and 15s too so look into those.

I've got an older Dodge Scab that I'm going to put a set of Fis in there, two 18s in 15 cubes. hehe

Last I remember, one of their 18s require right at seven and a half cubes and tuning is mostly dependent on the size of your cut out.
I've got a calculator somewhere.
Hang on a tick

There it is.
It can do cubes, for different style boxes, and porting.
