P.S.- i wish we could put in a pair of 18" Fi BTL's in our trucks reasonably. I just need to use my back seat so i think its a lost cause for my application.
You asked for the best sub under 600, I gave you the best all around for the money.
They offer 12s and 15s too so look into those.
I've got an older Dodge Scab that I'm going to put a set of Fis in there, two 18s in 15 cubes. hehe

If you put the speaker actually in the back, facing the rear and put your port out the front, you'd be able to maybe do it.

good luck with those 2 18's...
also , how much air space will the 18" need?? i want it ported... andhow do you 'tune' a box???
building the box should be very easy since im a carpenter... i just dont know how big of a box i need.
any help its appreciated
Last I remember, one of their 18s require right at seven and a half cubes and tuning is mostly dependent on the size of your cut out.
I've got a calculator somewhere.

There it is.
It can do cubes, for different style boxes, and porting.
