well according to research i did, that sub is rated at 150w rms/800 max. 2 things come to mind; 1: the more air space, the more you can decrese your power, which would let you think you only need like 500 watts. 2: but if you max out your gain on a 500w amp, it will distort and sound "mierda" (italian for sh*t) so what i recommend, is running like a 800-1000w amp and play with your eq and gain settings for best sound. Remember too much power turned down a little sounds a lot better than not enough maxed out

well since that sub is a single 4 ohm sub, your gonna need an amp thats stable beyond 2 ohms (which is what most amps are) i might recommend this one

I don't plan on it at the moment, I may do it in the future but there are a few other things I want before that.

Jmeyer...that pioneer amp you listed is perfect for the 1 sub that you have.

Adam, please research what your talking about before you start making recommendations. The ONE sub that he has is rated at 150w RMS at 4 ohms. You are recommending amps that are rated at 500w RMS at 4 ohms (kenwood) and 400w RMS at 4 ohms (the Polk). Both of those will blow that sub very quickly.
