Subwoofer volume low?

Okay, i just installed my two subs (2 10 inch w3's) and when i play them on my after market head (clarion nx409), the volume starts to dim. So at first i thought it was just the power output, so i turned the subs off. But still low volume, so i completely turned the head unit off and back on. Finally, they were back to normal but then when i turn my subs back on, it starts to dim again. It seems to be happening more often when the subs are at high power for a longer period of time (maybe like 6-7 min). When i first installed them though, there was no problem (this was about a week ago). Any help is appreciated.

So if you turn the sub woofers OFF the volume works fine or does it still do it if the subs are off?

Head unit still on sub off: makes noise
Reset head unit with sub still off: now its fine
Turn sub back on: works fine for about like 5 min or until i turn it up really REALLY loud, it starts back up

I would call the company who makes your head unit and ask them cause it seems like that is your problem.
