06 Supercab sub box under rear seat

Ok,

I am sure this subject has been beat to death in previous threads, but I really haven't seen many concrete answers to it.

I have an 06 supercab and would like to fit a couple of 10's or bigger under the rear seat. The obvious problem is that ford doesn't leave you enough room under the rear seat and plus the seat brackets are in the way.

I don't want to use any of those low profile speakers, or speakers that just work ok in boxes with less air space. I don't have any issues with lifting the rear seat to acomplish this task, but I don't want to fabricate something myself. I want it to look professional.

I have seen that LMI makes a lift kit, but is it quality? Does it get rid of the middle seat bracket all together? Or do you have to buy a box that fits around the middle seat bracket? If so, were can this box be found? What is the thickness of the MDF being used to make the box? What is the maximum mounting depth without the subs hitting the floor?

Basically I need options, to see which way to go on this. Pictures, links, or any info would be appreciated.

Thanks

JJDH,

Thank you! I don't know where you guys find the time to find all this stuff, but I certainly appreciate it.

I couldn't find any pricing on those subs that everyone is talking about, site was down at the time I tried to check. Will try to check it out a little later and see if it's up.

Thanks
