??? about componets and head units

Ive searched here and found everyone says not to use the stock headunit with componets. I will be putting in a aftermarket head unit will this work or will i still need to run an amp to them?

Preferably, components should always be ran with an amp, no matter what type of headunit they are running. Ive installed them all 3 ways, and all 3 ways WILL sound better then stock.

First of all, punctuation man. Makes it a lot easier to read.

When you popped the grill off, was there a stock tweeter? It mounts right above the stock 6x8.

Almost any 6x8 should fit with minor trimming and an adapter ring, whether it be a premade ABS one, or one that you cut and make out of MDF.

Yeah there is will i gain anything by putting in different speakers? Or would it be better to leave those alone and just replace the rear?

even the best factory speaker from bose, JBL, infinity, etc are still made of paper. The only ones that ive seen that havent been have been the new Ford Sony's, but even those are still garbage. Bimmers and porsches too, but those usually come from the factory without stereo's and the dealers add whatever they want, usually alpine. So yes, your aftermarkets will be much better then your stockers.

The audiophile fronts are 4" components. The circuit board you are talking about is the crossover.
