Need some advice please: Im considering a 12w1v2 or the 13TW5 under the seat in my Platinum. Ive read great reviews on the 13TW5, but with the hefty pricetag, Im wondering if it's that much better than the 12w1v2? Fortunately, the 12 has a fairly shallow mounting depth, 5.09", so it should work without a seat lift. I listen to all types of music and am really looking for some nice thumpage! Opinions are appreciated. Thanks to all.

I was in your same boat....was gunna buy a single 13tw5 and came accross these so i bought 2 instead......sale ends on the 29th....great price

 

ive got a 09 lariat and ended up going with the stealthbox 13tw5 and jl amp and it made my system 100 times better.Incredible bass and worth every penny.

I've been really happy with my 13TW5. Be sure to call some local JL dealers as they might be willing to give you a lower price. Mine was $330 from an authorized dealer.

 

Matt, how much did you pay or the stealthbox with the 13TW5? I was quoted $750 by a local JL dealer today. I believe they go for $899 on the JL website. Just curious. Thanks to all for the responses.
