Installation questions.

I have a 1997 F150 v6, Regular cab 4x2 that I am self installing new speakers and head unit into, and could use a little help to get started.

First off, I'd like to think of myself as mechanically inclined, but also know the importance of getting guidance before just ripping into something.

I figured I'd start with the speakers, so if anyone can point me to removal of the door panels, and rear panel on this model, I'd appreciate it.

thanks

I have some Sony's in the front, and Infinity in the back...I installed everything, the Infinity's wouldn't fit so I had to leave them in the speaker boxes I had for them, but everything else is in.

Only problem I had was getting the rear covers off. I broke the plastic snap fasteners, and damaged the lower molding pieces getting the old speakers out....But I plan on redoing the interior anyway so this at least gives me some sound.....

yeah, I did, thanks. Got the head unit in without too much frustration. fired her up, and it sounds sooooooo much better than 12 year old factory crap....

Thanks for all the help guys.

Now I have some questions on the most important part of the truck, the engine and drive train, so I am off to the right board to post.....Thanks again.
