well I mean for speakers and such I am thinking of going with kappas or jl audio c series, and for the sub im looking for a sub around 2-300. I mean I am waiting till the end of the winter to install everything because I am getting body work done and I am going to put some second skin audio sound dampening in there and have a great system.

SPL = sound pressure level = loud.
SQ = sound quality = clean.

So basically, do you want loud slamming bass for attention or do you want a clean reproduction of the music as it was intended to be recorded?

I know I am asking the same question I did before but do you think I would be able to fit the kappa perfect 10 inch sub under the rear seat?

if i were you i would stay away from the jl audio door speakers i had 2 sets of there xr series and was not at all impressed by them they are not made very well. the hot glue they used to hold the speaker tinsle leads to he cone kept comming loose and the speakers would go out. and there crossovers arent that great either. i have never owned any infinity's so wont comment about them.

i believe the 00 model superdutys had more room behind the seats than the 06 models so you should be able to put at least 10's back there. i have 3 10's behind the seat in my 06 they are only 5" deep though and the rear of the box is made of fiberglass and contures to the rear wall and the magnets are set in the depressions on the wall. these are the subs in there

Nothing wrong with that. I believe my system is aimed 100% at pure SQ, but it can get incredibly loud if I really crank it. With over 800 RMS on the front stage, with the new Seas Lotus component speakers and ZED amplifiers, it really sounds beyond incredible. Sure, 2 10" subs under the seat isn't going to break record SPL records, but my XBL^2 Adire drivers are so incredibly clean and distortion free at high volume that I don't care (even down to ~25Hz). PLENTY loud for me.

So what kind of subs do you have for your F150? I went yesterday and looked at JL's thin mount sub. I think it was nice but lil expensive. I also tried to see if my friends Kappa 10 inch sub would fit behind the seat/ under it and I had no luck. The mounting depth for that is about 6 1/2 inches. If your subs are as clean sounding as you say I would put them in my truck if you really recommend them.
