whats confusing me is sonics site has the 12w0 rated different then crutchfield and jl? http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...+12W0v2-4.html http://www.crutchfield.com/p_13612W0...-4.html?tp=111 but i noticed on jl's site they give a rms rating on the sub but if you look at their chart the rating they give is under the out of warranty part?

you must not be that good at surfing the internet... http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/s...252d1000D.html

and all of sundowns amps are tested at about 12v. the normal car operating voltage is 14.4... when tested at 14.4v the SAZ 1000D produced 1200w of clean power

these brands are just not mainstream. they are cheaper and 99% of the time better than mainstream (SQ and SPL). thats why most people on here prefer them. i guarantee if you hear my 1 12" Fi BL with my Sundown SAZ 1500D you would understand

Hifonics is actually a decent "budget" line of amplifiers. They will do rated power (not sure where people are getting "divide in half" from), although their multi-channel amplifiers don't sound that great. If you are running subwoofers with their mono channel amps, they will do just fine. Anyone who claims to hear the difference in sound between a class D hifonics vs. class D sundown on a subwoofer is completely full of ****. Especially on compressed, poorly recorded rap music.

Also, Sonic's warranty policy is complete BS, trust me I've dealt with it first hand. If they aren't authorized, dont buy it. You'll be sorry when your stuff breaks. If they really are authorized for Kicker and provide manufacturers warranty, then thats a great price and I'd go for it if thats what you want.
