Has anyone installed 6.5 components in the front of an 09 yet? I am curious how much of a PITA the mods are going to be since I am considering going this route vs some drop in 5x7 coaxials.

Second question: my local stereo shop guy said if I couldn't afford a set of good components then he recommends the pioneer premier TS D802P 6x8's for my 2009. Anyone heard these? I have not listened to them yet. Link -

Whatever speakers I chose they will be powered by a fosgate punch 150a2. And I won't be running a sub.
