The Mag v4 is a subwoofer in its own league, I was blown away when I heard one. Probably my favorite subwoofer so far.

Keep in mind that my idea of an amazing subwoofer is not the dB level it can attain on a bass tone but instead its ability to play a flat response at volume and still blend into the soundstage. The Mag v4 is not a SPL beast, but with its XBL2 structure plays with extremely low distortion no matter what volume level. Thats what I love about them. Oh yeah, plays flat down below 20Hz also. Still gets plenty loud for me if needed. The Adire Kodas I use have a similar design but are small enough to fit under the seat.

I also hear rumors of a future Mag v5 that will still be only 5.5" deep yet will have ~27.5mm of one way linear excursion imagine that kind of output coupled with the current Mag's incredibly low distortion.

I thuoght I already posted I was running audioque amps with nothing but good results. Now I am running a US amps merlin md-2 to the subs and a US amps merlin md4-3 to the doors which are RF power for the time being. The rf door speakers will definately be replaced soon by componens of some sort.I too like bass that blends .I am contemplating fiberglassing some kick panels in which case I have some time.I also have a kinetik hc 1800 under the hood and a clarion touch screen hu.I have been busy .My boy is in the hospitol with a resp. inf.and I am building a ported box for behind the seat of a 2001 supercrew that houses 2 10's.On top of 40 plus hrs a week at work.I am busy.

Sounds good. Love those Kinetiks, I have the same one. Those Merlins are excellent amplifiers, now get the best potential out of them by pairing them with some quality speakers and you will be rockin'.

i didnt know that was possible with 2 10s on mediocre power

I have always been told porting correctly doubles your output. I have been toying with my F150's for years (I had an 04 )and tried basically all major brands of subs as well as different setups. this cant be beat at least not in a f150.I just wanted to try the RE subs bought them without ever hearing them. Just figured I would try another brand.Glad I Did! Let me know if I can help.

The only way that will happen is with a well designed t-line or horn enclosure...doesn't have that much to do with the woofer...

RE XXX (07) uses almost the inverse of XBL^2 tech, in that one has a split coil while the other has a split mag to achieve the same result. Differences being cost, and the fact that RE lied about necessary enclosure sizes for the XXX - can't blame them though. Who wants to drop a grand on a woofer only to put it in a 15 cube sealed box?

Yeah no kidding.

But seriously, listen to a Mag v4 in its 1cu ft enclosure. You'd be impressed.

I've heard great things about it from so many people that Im pretty much convince already ha. If I was more into SQ/didn't own a truck that at 2k RPM approaches 140Db itself, I might be inclined to go ahead and pick one up.

Im sorry the English in these posts is beyond uncomprehensible.

You don't see the lighter side of things do you?

Censors can be a pain though. I understand your frustration, though I cannot read a single thing that you wrote.
