ok here goes and yes i have done alot of searches but either i missing te correct info or not searching with the correct terms.

truck is a 03 reg cab 4x4 5 speed 4.6.

currently have a kicker shallow cvt "if i rember right" its the 10 shallow, its ina genric box behind the seat powered by a rf punch 325.1, fronts are jbl componets powered by a small kicker amp.

im going to start accumliating the pieces for a complete redo, i have a set of focal's coming for the fronts and was going to do either a pair of 10's or 12 in a behind the seat box again.

ok i said all of that to ask these cpl question, i wanted to give you all the needed information.

if i do a seat swap, currenlty have the 60/40 split, and go with a set of expy or nice f150 captians chairs and build a middle console box is there room to mount a single downfire 12 between the seats ?? or will a 10 even work? im real **** about i want a nice sounding system that also has a nice clean look.

thanks for te help all, the other option is to trade the truck off for basically the same truck in a ext cab, which is a stupid idea unless i throw in the fact that the kids have all graduated and im going to finally start my mid life crisis toy.
