I've added the factory Sub and Audiophile H/U, my truck only came with the single disc, I love the added sound, but I wanted to hear how the truck sounds with the factory speaker/tweeter combo in the front doors..... I've read somewhere that if I change out the stock 6x8's for the component that I will gain the tweet, but lose other sound..... can anyone confirm/deny....

j/k I listen to it all. I'm not into the THUMP THUMP... just a real good sounding system. I have alot of time into the factory head unit (LED swap and display lens swap) to match the rest of the color swap I did in the truck. Can someone give me input on what to replace the factory doors with.... keep the 6x8's and just add tweets and crossover...or what

 

With out an external amp you will have problems with the crossovers with component speakers... Coaxial speakers would be the best bet...
