which sub would be louder, not so much worried with sq, but i have two kicker comp 05 subs and wantin something a lil better, i have a pioneer class d amp that pushes 200rms to each sub, so im thinkin which would be better, jl w0v2 or the memphis pr10 or boston acoustic g1s or???? any suggestions would be great, but it has to fit under the seat so thats like 5in i think so any suggestions would be of help

Too bad Adire doesn't exist anymore. My Kodas are only 4.75 deep and have a very healthy 20mm xmax of controlled XBL2 excursion.

Doubt you will find anything comparable output-wise without a seat lift unless you look at the JL tw5 or SI BM. Especoally with just 200w per driver.

 

well lets say this, out of them subs which is better sound then, since they aint no louder, i cant stand the kicker comps and im just wantin something that sounds just mainly better haha also, would a aftermarket headunit such as say they jvc arsenal 792 make it sound any better?

 

I run the jl10w1v2 seems for the power you have they would be a good match. They work in small enclosure under the seat I ahve the down fire box and they hit really hard either way deep or punchy bass, but I also used the subthump box which i think is a good match for that model jl look them up and see for yourself jlaudio.com and subthump.com

The w1 is a nice driver if you have a little EQ to play with. I used to have them, and I found that they struggled below 35Hz. Additionally, with only 9mm of max one way travel their output wasn't as strong as other options in this power range.

The new W0v2 is a promising looking driver. I think you would like it a lot better than the kickers with that much power. I haven't heard one yet, but I have seen some response curves for the W0v2 in a sealed box and its quite good.
