Hey guys,
im probably gonna buy a set of polk db571's from a guy off craigslist. im just worried that i put em in and they dont work. he says he bought them off craigslist and he got a different car so they didnt fit and theyve never been used. is there anyway to test them besides plugging in everyone?

well short of hooking them up you can quickly tap the terminals with a 9v battery and if they pop then they should work. That of course won't tell the whole story. For that you have to hook them up.

Polskas are darn cheap alot of places. How much are you paying, if you mind my asking?

 

the cheapest i found em was 70 bucks a pair shipped and im gonna be gettin em for 100 bucks for both pairs. unless u guys can find somewhere to get em cheaper that 70 shipped new then id rather jus buy em new and know that they will work.

 

70 shipped is damn good. Unless you would like to try some PG RSDs. Known by myself and countless others to be the best bang for the buck in amped comps.
