BOSE speakers in toolbox

Came across an old pair of Bose home theater speakers in the garage that were never going to be use again. They are the square looking ones with two speakers.

Heres what im thinking. I don't ever use my back door speakers (actually have them cut off and no one ever sits there) connecting some speaker wire to those wires and running the out the back vent in the cab up to my tool box. Is there a way that i could splice the wires and have both (door and Bose) speakers work??? Then mount the speakers on the inside of my toolbox with rubber seals and stuff so it wont leak, then when tailgating or just hanging out side we can listen to the radio.

What do yall think?
or should i sell them?

Home theater speakers - 6-8 ohms. Car stereo speakers 2-4 ohm. It will work, but not for very long, and likely wont sound very good

You can buy some budget marine speakers for pretty cheap that will blow the Bose out of the water. Everything else in your plan is good.

Bose speakers work good because of the box they are in. You'd make more money off them selling them on craigslist to buy some descent aftermarkets. Polk makes good marine grade speakers that will work good.
