Building a box and

I think I am thinking to hard but I am going to be buy two db drive 10" platinum series subs and I want a ported box, so I am building one sparing all the details of the build and getting straight to the question, when it says that the box needs to be 1.2 cubic feet is that per sub or would around 1.2-1.9 cubic feet be sufficient for both subs, or would the whole box need to be 2.4 cubic feet

where does it say that? 1.2-1.9 cuft would be pretty big for a single 10. so i think its probably both.

but i hope you dont think you can fit this under your seat without a seat lift

I would think thats per sub ported usually takes about 2x's the amount of cubic feet then a seal box.

Ok so wasn't thinking about it to hard cause I thought it made some sense to have it be per sub but not complete sense

ported under the seat

The first thing you should do is get a 2.5 lmi seat lift It is PERFECTLY safe if you know what you are doing and I have never had anyone even notice the seat was lifted . That is the gods honest truth . With the seat lift you can get 3.5 cubic feet under there. Ihave done it . The box I am finishing now is 2.4 cubic feet and I will be running 2 10'' RE se10's tuned to 35hz oh and they fire forward . Slot port in the middle firing up following the top angle of the box. This would be perfect for those subs . With the 2.5'' if you follow the coutour of the seat you can do basically anything. It is a breeze to install with the proper tools. I have a ported box that is 2 10'' 1.0 cf per sub ported to 32hz I dont need anymore. I will post some pics tomorrow night. Hope this helps

if you could post some pics of the box that is forward firing when you are done that would be great because that is what I was going for but when I put the box in it was so high that with out the seat my head would be sideways touching the roof. then again I did not follow the contour of the floor
