yea when you compare look at the sensitivity rating. I think those db571's were 93db which is pretty damn good. Really though if you can track a 6.5" with 93 or better sensitivity that's the way i would go.

Just ordered some db 571's from crutchfield. $75 a set with adapters included. No tax, free shipping. Got front and back. Those, along with the Saleen sub I have coming should add some spice to the sound. Sticking with the factory H/U for now. Maybe amp these later also. Been contemplating what speakers to get for about a week, then reading what you guys think helped me to make up my mind. Thanks.

i threw in some infinity reference series in my truck, with the tweeter adjustment button on em. anyone who says infinity doesnt make a quality speaker is full of ish. There are definitely other good brands out there, but with the bassy full sound these put out, especially when paired with a sub, they are definitely worth looking into.

Everyone is always going to say something sounds better than something else. I'm happy with my Pioneers.

Look for users like dconder, Bartak1, mSaLL150, styxnpicks, Low_e_Red, and Brypink2. We went threw an audiophile phase about 2/3 years ago and we even had a luxury car installer (6spdcoupe) on the site helping us out. Some of us who jumped on that train are still around. We all came to a definitive conclusion...Infinity is pretty much garbage in a SQ/SQL world.

Sure they might work for you if that's all you have known. But once you hear real quality speakers you'll understand.

You might want to think before you speak rookie. Infinitys are great for every day basic speakers...but are garbage compared to ID's, Focal's, etc etc

not sure what my bumper has to do with my sound system. I've had countless friends and strangers hear my system and can't believe I could get the SQ I have in a truck. Anyways I'll stick with my Rainbow's and you can stick with Infinity.

Put the bazooka tubes in the fog light hole openings of the mega-bumper.
