The sub is:
1000 watts RMS
Coils wired in series (4 Ohm nominal impedance),
Impedance: 2 + 2 Ohm (DVC)

The sundown 1000 is:
----RMS power, 2 ohm linkable/dual mono
1800W x 1CH
----RMS power, 1 ohm mono
1000W x 1CH
----RMS power, 2 ohm mono
600W x 1CH
----RMS power, 4 ohm mono
300W x 1CH

The Sundown 1500 is:
----RMS power, 2 ohm linkable/dual mono
3000W x 1CH
----RMS power, 1 ohm mono
1500W x 1CH
----RMS power, 2 ohm mono 800W x 1CH
----RMS power, 4 ohm mono
400W x 1CH

Whatcha think?

you read my mind! That was the next thing I needed to research. I was thinking about the 1500 because I can get a great deal on one and wouldn't I be able to limit it's output? But what do u need on these trucks to run the 1500?

If you can get a great deal on one then go for it

you can limit its power by turning the gain down and you actually might not need any other electrical changes... but you might have to get an extra battery or atleast the big 3

Yeah I'd like to avoid the extra battery, but the big 3 is likely!
