I am planning on installing component speakers in the front doors of my 2001 SCrew,
and I was wondering how much the grilles on the door panels restrict the sound.

Has any one cut out the grille so the speaker grilles are usable, or has anyone cut out the plastic altogether and replaced it with fsbric or some other material?

Any suggestions or descriptions would be appreciated. Pics would be great also.
