Mounting the sub under crew backseat

Sit back because I gave up on mounting my sony sub to the backwall of my crew cab... I hate my Sony Sub I wish I would have just bought a Kicker Shallow already in the box but my coustic amp would probably blow it too.. So now my sub pops at loud low deep bass... all from a coustic 241se bridged.. So I got to use what I have until I can get more money.. Got bills to pay .. So why does my Sub Pop .. I have had everything set perfect ...

Well anyway I have a job tonight so I will be working on the underseat mounting tommorrow when I wake up ..

Maybe my cheap coustic 241se.. with 240watts rms X 1 @ 4 OHMS IS MORE THAN this 450 rms ----1100 max watt sub can handle..

ALL HAIL THE COUSTIC AMP

Thought about this with dual voice coils ...... I can run my coustic amp at 80 x 80 then maybe this is the an I can use a smaller box..Plus its shallow mount ..

I am going crazy ... I think perhaps my coustic amp is throwing some strong DC Current into my sub... So I have no choice but to buy another sub amp.... I think I may just go out and buy me a new Ipod and some headphones .. Cause DEEEEAAAANNG this shiznick
quahomma I have got myself into has cost me a bungie load of money >>>>> I would really like to get my stereo sounding good before I get to Old to listen to it..

A sickening 6 min display of my wasted 60.00 dollars at walmart and a very crappy Sony Subwoofer that lasted 2 months.. This is being driven by 240 watts from a 241se coustic amp

My Sony Sub has a Bad Farting Problem..
I did notice that the sub fit in the cut out sort of tight ,, maybe the cage is wedged in to tight causing the voice coil to be misaligned with the magnet, as I have not smelled any burning at all.. And it only started this when i put it in the new enclosure...

Yep its supposed to be AC ... But this coustic amp has been blowing alot of subs lately...
I am thinking of going with the shallow mount Lanzar it dual voice coil and I wont be bridgeing my amp.. so by doing this I am only putting 60 watts to each 4 ohm voicecoil.. Maybe I could make the Lanzar Vector 10 in sub last a little while .. When I had my Dual Subs running both of them in stereo mode , No Problem but when I got the FX4 truck I only put one sub and the coustic amp bridged actually blew the voice coil all the way out of the sub...If there is nothing wrong with my coustic amp ,, I will never hate on them because this amp has blown some of the subs rated 4 times its power output..

Ok its 7:30 am Tuesday morning .. I am in the process of removing the back longer seat again and also I ampulling the sub out of the box to look for anything causing the popping sound.. I am also going to go around the box once again to make sure that there are no leaks ..Found an easy way to do this put a flashlight in the sub box and close off the front sub hole .. take it in a dark room and waaalaaa there you go... If we get it all back together and its a no go , then we start ordering stuff... Anyway I am off to the hardware store in about an hour but first it's TIME

How big is the box?

Is it ported or sealed?

What are the subs rated RMS that you are blowing?

How are you tuning your amp?

What are you listening to when the popping occurs?

New under the seat box built .. Found the problem Sub was slightly wedged tight in the enclosure .. no popping yet.. Sealed box 13deep x 25 wide x 9 front height and 5 back height .. Roughly 0.93 cu like the sub calls for .. Sealed box .. ( and I mean sealed with 3 tubes of liqued nails ) my sub is rated at 300 watts SONY RMS (LOL ) 1100 watts peak ( in it's dreams ) Amp is set to roughly 3 volts sens ( input ) which is what my Pioneer HU puts out .. The low pass filter is on , the crossover is set between 50hz and 80 hz .. Bass Boost all the way down.. My other amp is set similar but with crossover in flat position...
Head Unit crossover for Sub is set to 63hz + 1 , Bass on 0 Low Eq on 0 , Mid eq on4
high eq on 6... ( head unit cut offs set to 1khz mid , 10khz highs and 63hz lows... The sub sounds ok since I built my 3rd box ..I think it will be fine .. Just waiting for all the liqued nails to dry on the brackets

The bass is still a little fuzzy sounding but I chalk that up to the amp... After reading the coustic manual on the 241se the distortion on this amp is not very good at louder volumes.. so time to search for a good mono amp with around 150 to 300 watts rms.. I will take fotos tomorrow morning..
