Question 6.5" install easy in front doors?

Hi, this question is for those who have installed 6.5" components in the front doors.
Did you have to modify the door metal in any way or put in a special plate to mount them? Thanks.

I havn't done it but it's supposed to be pretty easy with a bracket. most audio stores either sell them or make them. looks kinda like a metal gasket.
