Ordered these from Crutchfield. 5x7 midrange with 1" tweeter that I`ll mount close to the door handles. 90 watt RMS amp. 5x7 Kappa co-axials in the rear. Any one have any idea how this might sound. I have a JBL 8' powered sub now. May go with MTX Thunderform.
Plan to put the dynamat door kits in and also do the rear of cab..possibly the floor. I have about twenty square feet of mat and three cans of their spray.

Purchased some from Crutchfield also and they sound great in the front doors. I wanted some for the rear doors too, didn't have the $$$ at the time. I have some pioneers in the back doors along with an 8" pioneer bandbass box.

Driving the sub with a Pioneer 2channel amp (bridged) and the door speakers with a 4 channel Profile amp.

Of course I went ahead and replaced the receiver with Pioneer dehp835 with the hideaway digital equalizer and a 6disc cd changer.

As for the sound, GREAT.
