Post MTX Speakers

Has anyone heard of these speakers? I was at my local stereo shop and they were really pushing the 4X7/6X8 MTX 2-ways speakers. Any feedback would greatly be appreciated.

TommyRox, Just about all stereo (auto) shops try to push their top line products.
I feel that a good 2 way speaker will work good in your back speakers (rear doors), but you have to have some type of sound system that radiates the highs, most 3 way speakers don't always do the job. If they are a stereo shop, they should let you try them out for a short period of time, and if you don't like them, they need to come out.
If your looking for a good 3 way speaker, for good highs and mid range , try Polks dx7s they do a good job for a 3 way, and if you like them, put a pair of EX572a's in the rear doors.
That's is just MHO........ works real well with the Veistron (sp) single cd player in my 2000.

Lightbulb

If you are going to spend that kind of money you are better off with an entry level components set.
FAR better IMHO.
