How do I go about taking the back part off my back seat in a 2008 F-150 Supercrew? I'm wanting to mount my amp behind there.

Take the 2 10mm nuts off of the top, remove the headrests, wrap a large pipe (a floor jack handle is popular here) and slide it in under each side just inside of the square metal ring and gently but firmly pop the seat up and off. After reading ALL the DIY threads here and wrestling with it myself, I was at the dealer and saw them do this and was like WOW, its just that easy

 

Even given those excellent instructions, it took me a while to get mine off. Be persistent, they do come out, but it's frustrating the first time around.
