I dont have the Insignia's anymore. I have 4 Kicker comp's but im putting them in my girlfriends jeep and starting on my 15's.

Chicken has his own record label and has more money in wiring than most people have in their entire system. 50,000 in just the amps for the 8 18s. Then the door speakers and computer must of been a fortune. And the wheels, breaks, seats. Whew

got any vids? my vids do no justice on how loud it is, nor how much everything moves inside and out.[/QUOTE]

looked at some of your other vids that 18 flexes the truck more than my 12's do in the other vids just the one you posted it looks about the same but you cant really tell nothing off camera's not like in person.

well my 4 Insignia's on 2400w would make stuff bounce around- that's not hard.

but i bet you can't hear your "2 12's on 1200w" 10 blocks away can you? how about 5?

didnt think so :P

I was surprised with the Insignia's actually. They don't sound like Kicker, Memphis, or any top-of-the-line subs, but the sound actually did travel.

It's all about wiring, air space, and wattage my friend. For cheap subs; 1800watt each and dvc isn't bad.

sweet jesus are you trying to brag about max ratings here?
i am truly at a loss for words here. lemme guess, your idea of adding that 10 to the mix was to get a "faster" response to help the 12's wasnt it?

that really explains your attitude about this. i would put my money on it that coobies BTL will whoop the crap out of your 4 12's or 15's or whatever the hell you are trying to squeeze into the back seat of your truck. you do know that the world record is held by a single 18 right? its not all about cone area, especially if you are constricting the subs.

what amp are you planning on running and what does your electrical look like?
i would HIGHLY recommend you scrap this idea of yours and look into some high quality subs (such as Fi, DD, Incriminator....there is plenty of stuff out there) and use the space you have to put a couple 15's (or even 18's) in a large box and a gigantic port

oh, and sound travels not because of the quality of woofer producing it, but because its sound....and thats what it does, it travels

im all for people tryin new stuff man, i just really think you are going about it wrong, and could do just as well with fewer subs and a more efficient enclosure
