Ohh I see now. Does it look out of place in person? Or can you hardly tell?

It doesn't look out of place at all. It is barely noticeable, instead of a black gap of nothing under the seat there is a strip of black carpet...looks better IMO.

Did you order the box from the Fox Acoustics site or get one off eBay? It looks like the F150 box is gone from his site. That's a bummer cause I was going to order one tonight.

I've got a spare set of Eclipse SW7104DVC-T2's laying around that have a 6"ø magnet and are 5 3/4" deep. It looks like they'll barely fit in the box and I'm hoping my 500/1 will push enough juice to them.

Still liking the box/amp/subs combo?

Man that is a bummer, I ordered is straight from his site on Friday April 10th, it was $5 cheaper than his eBay listing haha. Perhaps you should give him a call tomorrow, he has a phone number listed in his contact info. Maybe I got the last one he had pre-made?

And the speakers are actually breaking-in.....I thought they sounded good Friday. Today they got so low my Costas started vibrating on my face, the cars in front of me looked like the ones in my rear-view mirror without the shades on! Needless to say I turned it down haha. Those Infinity's offer way more bang for the buck than any sub I have ever had, hands down. MTX, Kicker, Rockford Fosgate...these are some bad *****, pardon the language.

Yeah I sent him an email and he replied within 30 minutes (on a Sunday!). He said that a wholesale guy called him up and offered to buy EVERY one that he had made and that he sold them all to him. He said that right now he's working on a box for F250s/F350s and that he should be running another batch of boxes around next weekend.

I had a set of 10" Infinity Kappa Perfects a few years ago and they truly are some great subs. They will go LOW and get pretty loud for a 10" sub.

Are you a student at AU? I went there for a couple years after high school and my fiance just graduated in December. Nice place!

Yep I am a Junior in the Logistics in the College of Business. Needless to say this forum really doesn't make my wallet feel good!

It really is a great place, I love it here. I've worked/lived in Hagerstown Maryland, Abbeville Dothan & Auburn Alabama, Atlanta Georgia, and Destin Florida, and this town is by far the best I've found. Great scenery everywhere if ya know what I mean, but it sounds like you have already figured that one out haha.

As far as the box goes, it is top notch in my book. Can't beat a guy that makes his boxes at his home rather than a mass producer. He is located in Louisiana somewhere, I ordered on Friday the 10th, it shipped on Wed. the 15th, and was here in Auburn on the Friday the 17th. Great service IMO.

Give him a week or two, he sold all he had in stock to a wholesaler and is in the process of making some more.

One of the bolt holes that held down the jack to the floor. Get in there with some good sand paper and remove all the paint and rough it up good, and then use a washer with the the raised "points" around the edge and use it inbetween the surface and a ring terminal, and then just use the original bolt to hold it all down. The one I used ended up being about 2 ft away from the ground terminal on my amp, and you want to keep your ground at 3 ft or shorter, so it works well.
