Which sub? Infinity or Memphis?
I'm debating which sub I want to put in my truck.... Currently, I have a Memphis Studio 12", SVC. I have a 12" Infinity 120.3DVC that could also go in there. Thoughts? The box is a 1.5ish sealed box. Power will be coming from an Infinity Reference 610a 456watt amp. I'm thinking about just throwing the Infinity in there for kicks and grins. How should I wire it up? This dual voice coil thing is new to me...
I've never heard Memphis but have always been told they're amazing but just by looking at what you got I would go with the DVC since it allows for more wiring options. Wiring option will depend on how many channels you amp is. Start here:

Amp is an Infinity 610a amp... Mono. 456 watts.
How would I wire up the subs? Like I said, DVC is new to me...
EDIT: Amp is 456 watts at 4 ohms. 657 at 2 ohms. Is there any advantage to one way over the other??

I hope you read the link I provided cause it could've answered that question. First thing you need to figure out is what ohm rating is the DVC. It apears that this sub is 4-ohm out of the box from my research. Next is the RMS rating of the sub to see what amp you need, looks like it's 300watts RMS. I take this info along with the info you provided about the amp and the optimal setup is a basic one. DVC just allows more wiring options so it looks like you you'll want to still run the amp in 4ohm mode since 657 watts@2 ohms for a sub that has a mid power rating is not a good idea. Hope this helps!
