will these subs in this box fit under my back seat

http://www.supercrewsound.com/commer...dId=7&catId=56

I have an 06 fx4 scab and I would need the optional extra mounting depth for them but other than that would they work?

Edit: Would one of these be a better option?

thanks that looks like what I need. One more thing, I dont really want to spend a ton of money I'm just looking for some bass so would one ten inch do what I want because as much as I would like to be able to bump I am already getting a 6" lift and 35"s so I don't really have alot of money to spend.

well I have a friend with two kicker comp 12"s in his jeep and thats more than I need but since my truck has no subwoofer it just feels like somethings missing when I'm listening to any type of music. Basically I just want to be able to turn it up and feel it hit but not have my truck rattle apart

ok so how about this setup....the supercrewsound box for a single 10" sub, and the JL 10w3v3 Can I have some suggestions for a good amp to power that sub that is affordable?

Edit: Anybody use this head unit? http://www.crutchfield.com/p_130P310...B.html?tp=5684

any pioneer hu is fine, consider the next step to premier only a few bucks more, 2 yr warranty, little better eq, if u get a single sub, u might end up wanting more later, i had the same thought when i started my install, i went with 2, i have the premiers1001s4, they arent popular, but they sound awesome, they have alot of good loud bass. i am shocked and impressed with them. tma amps are jls affordable, also their other series are 200$ that would be cool, although for a sub, the class d mono is the preffered method.

I would recommend against a pioneer HU, pioneers hasve a problem with a pico fuse blowing. plus that one doesn't have sub preamp outs and isn't much better than using the OEM deck

i didnt really look at the hu he was showing, it just looked a bit entry level, thats why i would recommend premier, , i have never once had a problem in 18yrs with pioneer, not once. with what he wants to do pioneer would be fine, he wont need the highend , or anything .....nice truck bty doesnt that fuse have something to do with the line output voltage,if the amp needs more and hu isnt putting out it goes? anyhow, never seen one go.

the pico fuse is a major problem with pioneers. its easy to blow and once it does the RCA ground is lifted resulting in HORRIBLE alternator whine. its a well known issue in the car audio circle. its just best to avoid the problem and go with a kenwood, alpine, eclipse, or clarion.

hot swapping the RCA's does it. always disconnect the power and ground before messing with the rca's

Nope. The JL w3v3 has a mounting depth of 5.93". That box, with the optional ring, only gives you 5 7/8", or roughly 5.84"-5.85".

I wanted to use the fox acoustics box and put two of them under my back seat, and that box has 6 1/8" mounting depth with the optional ring, but then the sub would hit the floor at full excursion. The top of the sub will actually sit about 5/8" above the plane of the bottom of the box, leaving you with only 3/8" of room for excursion. The JLw3V3 has 14mm of excursion, which equals .551" inches, which is more than 1/8" of an inch greater than the clearance you would have.

Looks like there is no way out of it without a seat lift or a very meticulously built box. However, only about a 1/2" seat lift would be required and then you could shim up the box...which is what I am thinking about doing

Quick Reply: will these subs in this box fit under my back seat
