What should i get???

before i get flamed for being accused for not using the search, i have and just thought it might be different since i have a pioneer avic D3....Ok so when i was painting my door handles i took off the door panel and speaker and somehow i broke part of the speaker , it still works but sounds aweful so i think im going to replace my all door speakers since i wanted new ones anyway just a reason to get new speakers ...so my question is what is going to be my best choice in speakers, theres alot of them out there and i dont know which one to go with. im on around a 200 dollar budget, i have a pioneer d3 HU and i dont plan on amping these...maybe later when i have a sub, so let me know what you think and what size ive been told 6x8 and 5x7

Haven't I been over this with you?

For just replacing speakers, polk dB571s are an excellent choice in that price range for 2 pairs.

I am not so sure why so many people love these speakers. I tried them in my last truck and was not too impressed. Granted, I am no audiophile and they were only being powered from the Kenwood HU, they just did not do what I was expecting I guess is all that I am saying. I am not downing them but they seemed no better than the $50 pioneers people put in...ok well maybe a little better

Nothing will sound awesome off 10 watts of head unit power. Those Polks are efficient speakers, giving them a slight advantage in this situation.

i have always been a fan of alpine speakers. alpine type S 5x7s are right around $100 a pair and they sound great. you can probably get them cheaper than that online. I think we sell them at best buy for right around $103 a pair.

In all honesty you really need to hit up your local stores and listen to them. Just dont be fooled by infinity speakers. They sound good on a speaker wall but are awful, just awful in a car. I always encourage people to not buy them.
