Subwoofers getting highs?

Subwoofers getting highs?

I notice my subs doesn't only get lows it get some of the vocals you can hear it humm or something I guess
I need something to get the sub woofer to only get bass??? I heard I need some sort of bass separator or something? Can someone help me out on this LOW, someone?

Low pass crossover. Most head units and amplifiers have them built in.

I Bet your amp has one. Go look at your amp, and find either a switch or **** for LPF (low pass filter). Turn the **** to about 70 or 80 and you will be quite happy.

Only... Input level, X-over, HP frequency, bass boost...
No **** saying LPF here..

the new HU should solve your problems, get one with a decent pre amp output voltage, i typically say 4 is good, but mine is 2v and its fine by me, look for one with good eq options and crossover options and a sub pre amp output, not just rear
