cross over ?

cross over ?

i think i need one. my p3002 only goes down to 50 hrz and my subs just dont hit low enough any help?

i dont think you need one, if your subs are sealed then a crossover isnt really gonna help all to much, if its ported and you get a crossover then i think you would just be damaging the subs

i recently downgraded to p1's the p2's sounded better but i had a trade come up i couldnt pass up. so there was a sale on p1's and i got two. its almost like they ping at higher bass. there arnt any real good install guys around here to help, there all about making a quick buck instead of knowing the jop

They aren't designed to hit real low man. You aren't gonna get much bass from them.

your not gonna get low bass out of any of the punch series, maybe a p3 ported but not extremely low, and definately not if its sealed

Make sure the HPF is off and that the LPF is on, then play with that.

If you have your HiPass filter on then you arent getting much of anything under 50 Hz and your subs are playing as high as they can go, exactley opposite of what you want.
