1999 speaker help

I was wondering if in a 1999 F150 extended cab, if I would be able to use 6x9's without modifying stock fittings too seriously. I recently totaled my old car and am planning on getting this truck soon so would like to know :P

stay with the standard size 6x8s, or go with some 5x7s...IMHO

Well I totaled my old car and just bought a 1999 f150 with the extended cab and my car had 5 1/4's and 6x9's. I am planning on using the 5 1/4's for now in the front and didn't know if I could use the others in the back until I can afford a new set of quality speakers.
