component sets

What kinda component sets you guys run in your front and what kinda speakers in the back doors of your 06 body style super cabs? Im looking at doing some zapco comps upfront and some zapco seperates in the back but im willing to look around and see whats out there. I was hoping these would compliment my 2 12" RE SE's under the back seat really nice. So let me know what you got for your interior mid bass and high's and of course all pix are welcome.

did you have to do a type of mounting plate for it or did it drop right in?

Morel Elate 3-ways up front, stock in the rear......... I would drop the idea of replacing the rear speakers and use that money on better front components or a better amp (unless you plan to eventually do 5.1)

i have 2 sets of 6.5" alpine type r comps in the front one in the doors (came with a 5x7 plate) tweeters in stock location (above speaker) and the other set in kick pods. factory in the rear for fill. the components off a alpine 4 channel and the rear from my headunit. i have it faded more to the front though. im not to sure of what to put in the back, im thinking of replacing the back with coaxial or dont know. but for sure i need a bigger amp for the comps it only gives 75x4 its the alpine mrv-f345. im looking into either getting the mrv-f545 if not selling these amps and getting the new ones the stackable ones because they have a 100.4 one. but i can tell you that right now it sounds clear and loud im KINDA FINALLY happy with my mids and highs. good luck man!!

Didn't know you were using zapco comp amps too, I applaud your choice *points to signature*

But, still, rear stage is a waste of money unless you're doing 5.1. Maybe get an SX-SL or something instead

No need for rear fill. Delete the rears and either leave it or put dedicated 6.5" midbass drivers back there.
